Roscrea: Christmas Short Story Winner

December 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

Congratulations to Jonas Stankevicius (Aged 9) for winning our Christmas Short Story Competition.

WOW! Its Christmas Eve right now. I’m going to the Library now as quick as I can. Near the Library there was Carol singers singinig “Lets Celebrate this xmas”. There was a big Santa Claus poster say: “Circus of Xmas” Near the Library was a big snow machine and they hitted me in the head and in the leg. My pants went down and all the people saw my underpants. This evening I got the book called ‘Matilda’. My parents setted up the Christmas Tree with the decorations, with lights and an angel on top of the Christmas Tree. We had a very nice Xmas Eve and we eated some sweet rice pudding and the turkey and also all the twelve recipies. The stars were shining bright in Roscrea and the moon was so big and it was full. It was midnight already and Santa Claus was already there eating the cookies and drinking the milk. It was fantasitc and Santa Claus was a little bit scared when I came into the Kitchen. He said my two presents are here now. He gave me a magic bell to see what is my wish. I rang it. That was my wish and it all came true. Santa Claus flew away and I was so excited! “
