Well in walked Jancita, followed by Mary, followed by Sean, and we sat down to discuss Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, in walked the rest of the group, with Sarah farsiled by the dog that followed her half way up the street! So now we could have a good lively debate regarding the book! It was felt that it was set according to the times it was written in and of course the way and “turn of phrase” that Mr Bennett & Mrs Bennett spoke to each other! There was always a hidin’ insult said in a polite way!!! Overall the group totally loved this book and the way it was written. How to paint a Dead Man by Sarah Hall is this month’s book.
