Thurles Library: Europe Direct Climate Change competition

June 17th, 2010 · No Comments

The prizegiving party for the winners of our schools competition took place in the library on the 16th of June. Tipperary hurler, Lar Corbett, was on hand to present prizes to the children and sign hurleys and tops. Congratulations to all our winners and also to everyone who took part. Altogether, 17 primary schools entered the competition, with our judges given the difficult task of choosing winners from almost 600 entries.

The entries can now be seen on display in Thurles Library, so do pop in to see what the next generation thinks of climate change.
