Cahir library news - Ladies who knit !!

The craft group - the “ladies who knit” have expanded their group in Cahir library every Friday. There are all sorts of crafts being done, knitting, crochet, tapestry, embroidery, stitchcraft and rug-making. These ladies are very willing to help learners of all ages who wish to get involved, or if you knit and are having problems with a project, please feel free to come in. There is quite a range of ages, so no one need feel they couldn’t come in. Also joining in are those who haven’t knit, etc for years and who need a smidgen of help getting back into it. Patterns are swapped and advice given. They have a coffee and a laugh and are really enjoying the social aspect of the group as well. The ladies and I should add that its not limited to just the women, any guys out there who wish to come in are more than welcome, meet every Friday from 10.30 onwards to 12.30pm.
